Hi. My name is EB. I’ve always considered myself a very active, engaged person – even though I am using a sip and puff specialized mouse to dictate this from my power wheelchair. Ever since my accident in a swimming pool in August 2014, I’ve been a quadriplegic. But I’ve never really stopped moving.
You see, before my accident, I was a physical therapist. I actually volunteered in the very facility, Craig Hospital, where I now exercise for my rehabilitation and recovery.
My life is going forward, and I am working hard every hour of every day to keep my mind and body active, so I can not only help myself but also millions of others who don’t want to be defined by their physical disability.
